Perhaps the main thing that makes 92-3 The Depot different than all of the other radio stations in the Ark-La-Tex is that our announcing team is made up of local folks with a wealth of experience in radio and the music industry…and they all know the Ark-La-Tex because they all live here. The Fat Man who hosts our morning show “Mornings in Marshall” has long list of awards and experiences after nearly a half-century of performing on the air. Seth Necessary who anchors our midday programming from 10 AM-3 PM is a musician who has worked alongside some of the most notable performers in the country. And he works alongside our listeners as they navigate their way through the workday. And Mary Lynne O’Neal who is originally from Marshall is also a veteran of the music industry hosts our afternoon show as she rides shotgun with listeners on their way home with lots of fun, upbeat songs that picks them up and makes them feel good after a long day of work. Preston Taylor, The Professor, hosts a specialty show on Sunday mornings, 8 – 9 AM, Texas Sounds International. This hour features the international musicians who perform in the annual October event. And all of these performers provide our listeners and clients with real music variety. Add it up and that’s why 92-3 The Depot is the radio station that sounds like East Texas.
